Das folgende eMail von AdSense erreichte mich heute:<\/p>\n

We wish to inform you that the exchange rate used for your April payment was incorrect. We’re working hard to investigate this error and will update you once we have additional details on how we intend to resolve the issue.<\/p>\n

If you normally receive communication for us in a language other than English, we will provide additional information in your preferred language next week.<\/p>\n

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.<\/p>\n

Ich war ziemlich skeptisch, ob das Mail von Google stammt, doch nach einem Check der Mailheader war klar, dass es tats\u00e4chlich so ist. Die Panne bei bei der Auszahlung der AdSense-Guthaben ist zudem offenbar gr\u00f6sseren Ausmasses, denn laut einem Posting bei Google Blogoscoped<\/a> sind solche Mails zumindest auch in Kanada und Schweden aufgetaucht.<\/p>\n

Offenbar hat Google bei der Umrechnung die Guthaben mit dem Wechselkurs dividiert anstatt multipliziert, wie ein User im Forum bei Digital Point berichtet<\/a>. Das f\u00fchrt zum Beispiel f\u00fcr Auszahlungen in der Schweiz zu einer zu niedrigen Zahlung. In anderen L\u00e4ndern wie zum Beispiel Grossbritannien wird so jedoch zuviel ausbezahlt, wie Amit bei Digital Inspiration anmerkt<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Dann bin ich mal gespannt, ob Google den fehlenden Betrag noch zus\u00e4tzlich \u00fcberweist, oder ob dieser mit der n\u00e4chsten Monatszahlung \u00fcberwiesen wird.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
