Heute muss nun also dieses Halloween<\/a> sein, auf das ich seit Wochen vorbereitet werde. Vom Grossverteiler \u00fcber Webseiten bis hin zur passenden Party: \u00dcberall greift Halloween um sich…<\/p>\n

Urspr\u00fcnglich waren es offenbar die Kelten die den Brauch einf\u00fchrten, und vor rund 2000 Jahren wurde Halloween \u00fcberall in Europa gefeiert. Aber irgendwann war Schluss damit. Heute gewinnt Halloween aber auch bei uns wieder an Beliebtheit. Die einen ergreifen die Gelegenheit, sich lustige und weniger lustige Streiche<\/a> einfallen zu lassen, andere wiederum nutzen das Motto vor allem dazu, Halloween wie Weihnachten und Ostern f\u00fcr ein gutes Gesch\u00e4ft zu nutzen. Und „Halloween-Zeugs“ gibts ja nun wirklich an jeder Ecke zu kaufen…<\/p>\n

Sorry, aber ich kann damit \u00fcberhaupt nichts anfangen, wieso kommen wir eigentlich dazu, einen in den USA gebr\u00e4uchlichen Brauch in den letzten Jahren auch hier zu feiern? Ich wage zu behaupten, dass (fast) ausschliesslich kommerzielle Gr\u00fcnde zur (Wieder-) Einf\u00fchrung dieses Brauchs gef\u00fchrt haben. Abgesehen davon konkurrenzieren solche „neumodischen“ Br\u00e4uche auch die bestehenden Br\u00e4uche. W\u00e4hrend beispielsweise der „R\u00e4beliechtliumzug<\/a>“ immer weniger Kinder anzieht, scheint bei Halloween genau das Gegenteil zu passieren.<\/p>\n

Immerhin hat bei uns das „Klingeln f\u00fcr S\u00fcssigkeiten“, wie das Karsten<\/a>, Pia<\/a> und Blaui<\/a> beschreiben, bei uns noch nicht grosse Ausmasse angenommen (oder dann hab‘ ich es gl\u00fccklicherweise verpasst).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
