Ein ziemlich abruptes Ende hat heute das Blogportal blog.ch<\/a> hingelegt. Nur wenige Stunden nachdem der Betreiber, die Firma Idealizer, kurz mitgeteilt hat<\/a>, dass aus blog.ch nun swissblog.ch<\/a> werden soll, sind die Seiten auch schon offline. Auf der neuen Domain sind bislang allerdings keine Inhalte zu sehen. Die Dummen d\u00fcrften dabei diejenigen sein, welche dort ein Blog betrieben haben und wegen der Kurzfristigkeit der Abschaltung wohl keine Chance hatten, ihre Daten zu sichern.<\/p>\n

Die Hintergr\u00fcnde der Abschaltung bleiben dabei gr\u00f6sstenteils im Dunkeln. Gem\u00e4ss Switch geh\u00f6rt blog.ch nach wie vor der Firma Digerati, einer Tochter der Schweizer Beteiligungsgesellschaft Centralway<\/a>, die die Domain im Fr\u00fchling 2006<\/a> von Matthias Gutfeldt kaufte und den damals dort betriebenen Blogaggregator-Dienst einstellte. Neu sollte daraus ein kostenloser Bloghoster werden<\/a>. Der Erfolg blieb allerdings bescheiden, woran auch eine Neuausrichtung<\/a> im Oktober 2008, bei der man die Idealizer AG als Partner mit ins Boot nahm, nichts \u00e4ndern konnte.<\/p>\n

Da es (auch) bei einer Beteiligungsgesellschaft am Ende um Geld geht, liegt die Vermutung nahe, dass man sich wirtschaftlich mehr aus dem Projekt erhoffte und sich deshalb kurzfristig vom ehemaligen Partner trennt<\/a>. Gut m\u00f6glich, dass am Ende nun sogar die Domain zum Verkauf angeboten wird und man sich damit aus dem Abenteuer „Blog-Welt“ verabschieden will. <\/p>\n

Die Hoffnung, dass die Blog-Community von einem solchen Schritt profitieren k\u00f6nnte, ist allerdings klein.
