Die Unterschriftenliste der Free Burma-Aktion<\/a> w\u00e4chst auch nach dem eigentlichen Aktionstag nach wie vor weiter und die Teilnehmerzahl liegt unterdessen bei 12’427 „Symphatisanten“. Mit den Daten von heute morgen um 10 Uhr (11’302 Teilnehmer) habe ich eine kleine Statistik \u00fcber die Herkunft der Teilnehmer erstellt. <\/p>\n

Insgesamt haben Personen aus 146 L\u00e4ndern mitgemacht, was ich ziemlich beachtlich finde. Die meisten Teilnehmer (2950) kommen aus Deutschland, was allerdings auch nicht weiter verwunderlich ist. Schliesslich wurde ein Grossteil der Aktion aus unserem n\u00f6rdlichen Nachbarland heraus geplant. Erstaunlich finde ich hingegen, dass auf Platz 2 bereits die USA mit insgesamt 1119 Unterzeichnern folgt, denn wer h\u00e4tte schon gedacht, dass der Aktionstag auf der anderen Seite des Atlantiks \u00fcberhaupt eine Resonanz findet. Platz 3 und 4 geht an Spanien und Italien mit 903 bzw. 850 Teilnehmer. Die Schweiz und \u00d6sterreich liegen auf den Pl\u00e4tzen 9 und 10, wo bisher 324 bzw. 296 Personen mitgemacht haben.<\/p>\n

Eine kleine Einschr\u00e4nkung zu den Zahlen gibt es allerdings: Ich habe die Daten weder auf Dubletten noch auf ihre „G\u00fcltigkeit“ gepr\u00fcft. Vorausgesetzt, dass die User vor allem das Land richtig in das Formular eingegeben haben, ist es aber doch erstaunlich, woher \u00fcberall Solidarit\u00e4tsbekundungen eingegangen sind.<\/p>\n
