Nach dem Hamburger Landgericht hat auch das europ\u00e4ische Harmonisierungsamt den Antrag Googles abgelehnt, die Marke europaweit zu sch\u00fctzen. Hintergrund der Probleme sind eingetragene Marken anderer Unternehmen in Deutschland und Grossbritannien. Bereits nach dem Urteil des Hamburger Landgerichtes benannte Google den <a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/mail\/\" target=\"_blank\" >eMail-Dienst<\/a> in den beiden L\u00e4ndern in Google Mail um. Kunden aus den beiden L\u00e4ndern k\u00f6nnen seither nur noch Mailadressen mit der Endung &#8222;googlemail.com&#8220; registrieren.<\/p>\n<p>Google steht es nun offen, eine Beschwerde beim Harmonisierungsamt zu deponieren und auch ein Berufungsverfahren vor dem Haseatischen Oberlandesgericht ist noch h\u00e4ngig. Die Erfolsaussichten scheinen mir allerdings nicht allzu gut zu sein. Fragt sich nur, ob Google den Dienst in Zukunft \u00fcberall Google Mail nennen wird um weiteren oder \u00e4hnlichen Schwierigkeiten aus dem Weg zu gehen.<\/p>\n<p>Den Inhaber der deutschen Marke &#8222;G-Mail&#8220;, Daniel Giersch, d\u00fcrfte es freuen, denn dieser bietet unter <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gmail.de\" target=\"_blank\" >http:\/\/www.gmail.de<\/a> ein bereits eine moderne Maill\u00f6sung an, die laut <a href=\"http:\/\/pressetext.de\/pte.mc?pte=070130039\" target=\"_blank\" >Meldung von pressetext Deutschland<\/a> &#8222;altbew\u00e4hrte Kommunikationsl\u00f6sungen wie E-Mail oder Telefonanruf verkn\u00fcpft&#8220;:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>So kann beispielsweise ein handschriftlich verfasster Brief per G-mail-Botendienst abgeholt werden.
