Nachdem die franz\u00f6sischsprachige Version von Wikio bereits seit Juni dieses Jahres online war, hat Wikio gestern an der LeWeb3<\/a>-Konferenz in Paris auch den Startschuss f\u00fcr Wikio in Deutsch<\/a>, Englisch<\/a>, Italienisch<\/a> und Spanisch<\/a> gegeben.<\/p>\n

Wikio, eine Art Mischung aus Digg<\/a> und herk\u00f6mmlicher Newsquelle erfasst Hunderte von Nachrichtenseiten und Blogs und sortiert diese (halb-) automatisch nach Tags und Kategorien. Wie bei Digg und seinen Klons \u00fcblich, k\u00f6nnen User auch bei Wikio durch Voten einen Artikel st\u00e4rker gewichten, so dass dieser nach vorne rutscht.<\/p>\n

Pierre Chapaz, der „Erfinder“ von Wikio ist \u00fcberzeugt, dass Europa einen Service wie Wikio braucht<\/a>:<\/p>\n

Europe is very different than the U.S. In the U.S., you have a large diversity of information services but in Europe, we only have Google News and to a certain extent, Yahoo News. If you look at Technorati, their index is far from being comprehensive. So Wikio is to establish new information in Europe coming from blogs as well as traditional media because we don’t see any reason to put a wall between blogs and traditional media.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Auf den ersten Blick gef\u00e4llt mir das Konzept. Ob ich allerdings mit der Informationsflut klarkomme, die mir Wikio t\u00e4glich pr\u00e4sentieren will, wird sich erst noch zeigen m\u00fcssen. Doch genau das muss Wikio umsetzen k\u00f6nnen, um eine gen\u00fcgende Anzahl von Usern zu generieren, wie SpOn schon im April dieses Jahres feststellte<\/a>:<\/p>\n

Die M\u00f6glichkeiten der neuen Suchmaschine sind gewaltig. Ob sie ihre volle Power bald entfalten kann, h\u00e4ngt allerdings von der Zahl der Nutzer ab. Je mehr mitmachen und flei\u00dfig Punkte vergeben und Spam aussortieren, umso zuverl\u00e4ssiger wird Wikio arbeiteten. Die Blogossp\u00e4hre wird sicher ihre Freude an der Seite haben – auch weil die Onlinetageb\u00fccher hier gleichrangig mit klassischen Medien behandelt werden. Ob der Durchschnittsurfer den Mix aus Blogs und News mag, muss sich erst zeigen.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
